What is the refund policy?

Once booked, tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a different date. Customers may transfer tickets to another person if they are no longer able to attend. The Customer and new ticket holder should get in touch with us immediately so we can update the contact details on the booking.

If we (i) cancel; or (ii) reschedule the event due to circumstances within our control, we will issue a gift voucher to the same value for the following seasons event. If the ticket price has increased the following year, your voucher will be topped up or a code issued allowing you to redeem at your previously purchased rate.

For weather cancellations please see: 'What happens if bad weather is forecast for the day of the event?'

Gift vouchers are only valid for the year in which they were purchased or for the current event taking place at the time of purchase or the next scheduled event. Gift vouchers do not carry to the following year or event. For example a gift voucher purchased in July during our summer event will only be valid until the end of that event. A voucher purchased in Dec when tickets go on sale will be valid until the end of the following summer's event.

What happens if bad weather is forecast for the day of the event?

London in the Sky is an outdoor dining experience and as such we are open to the elements. There is a roof over the table which means we can operate in full in the rain (although this doesn't mean guests are 100% waterproof - we are 100ft in the air!). We do not cancel or move flights in these circumstances, remember to dress accordingly, waterproof jackets are strongly advised.

There are however some weather conditions which impact on the safe operation of London in the Sky. In the event of adverse weather conditions such as high wind speeds and thunder & lightning, we reserve the right to cancel flights or lower the Sky Table from 100 feet to a safe operating height in the interests of guests' safety. The full meal service will be continued in a safe location. We will attempt to take guests back up to a safe operating height when the weather permits us to do so.

Unless notified by email and/or text, customers should come to the event at the scheduled arrival time as the site supervisor can only make a final decision whether to lift or not 15 minutes before the scheduled lift time.

We do not refund tickets for an event if (i) the meal is able to go ahead; and (ii) the table is in the sky for 15 minutes or more at a safe operating height.

Should we have to cancel the experience due to inclement weather or if we are unable to start the lift, guests will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to rebook during the event.

What happens if my flight is cancelled or rescheduled due to COVID-19?

Our ability to operate the event may be impacted by the Coronavirus outbreak, and rests on the advice and policies of the UK Government issued as a result of COVID-19. In any case of a cancellation or postponement by EVENTS IN THE SKY LTD due to COVID-19, or any other pandemic, Customers will have the full value of their ticket transferred on to a gift voucher that can be redeemed against a future date. No refunds will be given in these circumstances.

If a Customer is unable to attend the event due to issues arising from COVID-19, no refunds will be given. Tickets may be transferred and it is the Customer’s responsibility to get in touch with us so that the details on the booking can be updated to that of the new ticket holder.

Do you offer vegetarian options on your Menus?

Yes, each menu will have a vegetarian/vegan option which needs to be ordered in advance. We will be in touch prior to your experience to give you more information about your menu for the day and ask for any dietary requirements. Due to the practicality of cooking at height we are unfortunately unable to cater for all personal dietary requirements, but we will do our best to accommodate them as best we can.

Please note our meat is not halal.

How early do I need to arrive and what happens if I'm late?

DO. NOT. BE. LATE!! Unfortunately, as with actual flights, once we take-off there is no coming back down for late comers. This is why we ask that you arrive an hour before your scheduled time, so that you have enough time to register at reception, put your belongings in the cloakroom and prepare for your flight. Please note we also seat guests 15 minutes before the scheduled flight time.

On site we have an indoor bar & lounge area and an outdoor garden where you can relax until your flight.

Can I buy more food & drink on the day?

Yes you can! We have a fantastic gin garden, bar and lounge on site where you can relax and have some drinks before/after your flight. We also serve a great bar menu offering light bites and snacks for those joining us for cocktails, or for those who get a bit peckish!

What is the dress code?

Smart casual. Please note some people may find short skirts and dresses to be uncomfortable due to how the harness sits. London in the Sky is an outdoor dining experience and as such we are open to the elements! There is a roof over the table which means we can operate in full in the rain (although this doesn't mean guests are 100% waterproof - we are 100ft in the air!), so remember to dress accordingly, waterproof jackets are strongly advised. Guests are also advised to dress warmly in overcast weather and for cool mornings & evenings.

Is there a toilet on the sky table?

No, guests must use the washroom facilities on site prior to their sitting.

Can I participate if I’m pregnant?

Events in the Sky is safe for pregnant ladies, but we don’t recommend it for women more than six months pregnant as they may be uncomfortable in the chair with the three seat belts used to fasten in guests. This is however down to the guests discretion.

Is there a minimum age/height or maximum weight to participate?

There is no minimum age but a minimum height of 1.4m applies to participate in London in the Sky. Under 18s need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A maximum weight of about 120-130kg is advised for guests to feel comfortable in their seat.

What can I take up with me on the sky table?

We encourage guests to bring a camera or phone to take pictures of your experience whilst in the sky. No bags or other items will be allowed on the table but can be left securely in the reception cloakroom.

Is Events in the Sky safe?
